About
Add John Deere rate control while retaining the Hardi system.
The AgriStag GRC to Hardi 5500 Adaptor Cable provides the electrical interface required to integrate a John Deere GreenStar Rate Controller with a boom spray controlled by a Hardi 5500.
Rather than replacing the sprayer's factory harnessing, the adaptor allows the GreenStar Rate Controller to connect into the existing Hardi system, providing a straightforward way to introduce John Deere rate-control functionality while retaining the Hardi controller and associated machine functions.
This makes use of the existing Hardi electrical system rather than requiring the sprayer to be completely rewired for the John Deere rate controller.
Compatibility
Designed for:
- Hardi 5500-controlled boom sprays
- John Deere GreenStar Rate Controller
- Existing factory Hardi sprayer harnessing
Compatibility can vary with the configuration and functions fitted to individual Hardi sprayers. We'll confirm the existing setup before manufacture where required.
Fitment & Routing
The adaptor connects between the Hardi 5500-controlled sprayer system and John Deere GreenStar Rate Controller, providing the required interface to the existing factory Hardi harnessing. This allows the GreenStar Rate Controller to be incorporated without replacing the existing sprayer harnessing, while the Hardi controller remains available for the machine functions it continues to manage.
