A side-by-side might not be the first machine that comes to mind when you think precision ag. That's kind of the point.

The AgriStag GreenStar Side-by-Side Harness provides the electrical backbone for turning a suitable UTV into a purpose-built precision spraying rig, particularly for fencing applications where accuracy and repeatability matter.

Each harness is configured around the application, bringing together a Gen 5 John Deere display, StarFire™ receiver, ATU300 steering and AgriStag Universal CAN Controller (UCC) within one integrated setup.

For precision fencing, the UCC controls the spray function using distance trip, allowing the system to apply spray at predetermined intervals as the UTV travels along the fence line. NMEA output is also included as standard for integration with precision field surveying using a T3RRA Cutta tablet.

Provision for an MTG is incorporated into the harness, allowing compatible John Deere connectivity hardware to be added where required.

This isn't a universal harness pulled off the shelf. It's built and configured for the intended SxS application, with the connections required for the agreed setup incorporated into the build.

BUILDING A COMPLETE RIG?

There's a bit more involved than harnessing alone, but you don't need to work it all out yourself.

AgriStag has previously worked alongside Hutcheon & Pearce Wagga Wagga on these builds, with H&P supplying the John Deere whole goods, spray tanks and engineering components such as the receiver roof-frame assembly, ATU counter-rotation device and display mounting bracketry.

Once those components are fitted, the UTV comes to us at AgriStag for harness installation, system checks and calibration.

WHAT THIS PRICE COVERS

The advertised price is indicative for the AgriStag harnessing only. Final pricing can vary depending on the configuration required and will be confirmed with your quote. UTV, John Deere whole goods, spray tank and engineered mounting components are not included in the advertised harness price.

AgriStag installation is available at our Wagga Wagga workshop for $1,200 per day. For this setup, allow 2 business days for harness installation, system setup and calibration once the UTV is ready for us.
