Got the liquid system and rate controller? We'll connect the dots.

Originally developed for a commercial seed grower wanting to apply an insecticide and fertiliser solution in-furrow, this harness provides the electrical interface between a rate controller and the components of a liquid application system.

In that first setup, the grower had sourced the plumbing and already had a John Deere Rate Controller. We designed the harnessing required to connect it to the section and control valves, flow meter and pressure sensor.

The same idea can be adapted to other liquid application setups.

Harnesses are custom-built around the rate controller, valves, sensors and layout of the implement, with configurations available for ARAG, John Deere, Raven and Topcon rate controllers and a range of commercially available liquid-system components.

With the appropriate rate controller and precision ag equipment, the completed system can support automatic rate control, variable rate application, section control and application mapping.

The harness is the interface that brings those components together. The functionality itself is provided by the rate controller and wider precision ag system.
