The Permanent Base Station Harness provides a reliable power connection between a StarFire Receiver and a 12V battery via heavy-duty battery lugs, making it ideal for permanent RTK base station installations. Designed for long-term use, the harness includes a display connector to support software updates, programming, and system diagnostics when needed. Built for rugged agricultural environments, this harness ensures a stable and continuous power supply for maximum uptime and signal accuracy.

Compatability

Compatible with John Deere StarFire Receivers (including SF3000 with updated StarFire receiver harness, SF6000, SF7000, and SF7500 models). Designed for use in permanent RTK base station configurations. Suitable for 12V battery systems only. Not intended for mobile or vehicle-mounted receiver setups

Fitment & Routing

Connect battery lugs directly to a 12V power source (deep-cycle battery recommended for permanent setups paired with a trickle charger, either solar or mains). Mount the StarFire Receiver in a fixed location with clear sky visibility and away from sheds for optimal satellite reception. The integrated display connector can be utilised for diagnostics or software updates—designed to be kept inside a weather-proof enclosure with integrated fuses. The flanged housing requires a 64mm (2 1/2") hole to be cut through the wall of the weather-proof enclosure (ideally, the underside of the enclosure to prevent water ingress). Secure all cables to reduce wear and prevent exposure to weather or physical damage.
