The AgriStag StarFire Receiver Extension Harness provides 5 metres of additional reach, allowing a John Deere StarFire receiver to be removed from its normal mounting position and carried to the exact location of a field feature or survey point.
Designed for precision marking and field surveying, the harness allows the receiver to remain powered and communicating while it is moved away from the machine. This makes it useful for accurately recording locations such as:
Fence posts and fence lines
Centre pivots
Field assets and reference points
Survey points for earthmoving and land-forming applications
The harness also incorporates RS232 communications required for T3RRA Cutta field surveying and design, allowing the StarFire receiver to provide positioning data while surveying a field.

Fitment & Routing
The extension harness connects inline with the existing StarFire receiver connection, providing 5 metres of additional cable between the machine and receiver. Once connected, the receiver can be removed from its mounting point and moved to the required survey or marking location without shutting down the machine or disconnecting the receiver. Important: Fit the extension harness with the machine turned off to prevent loss of the receiver's Terrain Compensation Module (TCM) calibration. Once installed and the system is operating, the receiver can then be removed from its mounting point and repositioned using the extension harness as required.
