Modern rate control without piecing together the wiring.

This harness replaces the existing boom-control wiring and brings the electrical functions of the spray system together into one purpose-built harness, allowing Hayes trailing boom sprays to be retrofitted with an ISOBUS rate controller.

Originally developed for a seven-section split-boom spray, the harness integrates connections for:

• Seven spray sections

• Electric-over-hydraulic boom functions

• Boom lights

• Fence jets

• Pressure sensor

• ISOBUS rate controller

• Provision for a time-delayed centre section

Rather than adding new rate-control wiring around the existing electrical system, the harness provides a complete replacement for the boom-control wiring, consolidating the spray and hydraulic electrical functions into a cleaner, purpose-built setup.

BUILT WITH INSTALLATION IN MIND

There's a lot going on in a harness of this size, so we've made identifying connections as straightforward as possible.

Key connectors are labelled throughout the harness, while the section valve connections are colour coded to make it easier to identify each section during installation.

The standard harness is manufactured for a seven-section Hayes trailing boom spray, with variants available on request to suit other Hayes boom configurations.

TIME-DELAY CONTROL

This harness was originally developed alongside our Split Boom Time Delay Controller for a spray setup with left and right front-mounted wings and a centre boom trailing approximately 6 metres behind.

Because the spray sections aren't physically in line, standard section control can't account for the difference in where each section is positioned on the ground. The separately available controller applies a programmed delay to the trailing section's ON and OFF commands, helping reduce missed coverage and unnecessary overlap at headlands.
